Post-Season Tournament
New tournament format for Fall 2009. The tournament format will be pool-play followed by semi-finals (if needed) and a championship final. The winners (based on points and tie-breakers) of each pool will advance, along with a wild card team based on points in some divisions. Only the semi-finals and championship final will use the golden goal overtime followed by a possible shoot-out to decide the winner. Pool-play games can end in ties. Pool seeding was done through a blind draw. Most teams are guaranteed 3 games, some 2 games based on the number of teams in the division.
