The Dalton Burner Foundation
LSSA is teaming up with The Dalton Burner Foundation to help families in Eastern Jackson County Missouri help fight childhood cancer.
In April 2012 the Lee's Summit Soccer Association and the Dalton Burner Foundation received the 2011 Community Blood Bank-Community Blood Drive of the Year for rasing nearly 200 units of blood in their first annual event. The Burner family and Ron Cox, President of LSSA was present to accept this award on behalf of all the great LSSA members who gave their blood.
On May 5, 2012 at Paradise Park the groups will team up again to host the second annual blood drive (Kid's Kick'n Cancer). Let's all come together again to help fight childhood cancers. Ron Cox, President of LSSA said at the awards event "working together, combining our passion and resources, we can make a difference and save lives".
