The LSSA STRIKERS youth soccer program was organized in the Fall of 2007. It is a fully integrated soccer program that utilizes a variety of training methods. The program focuses on developing youth soccer skills, social skills and teamwork through positive reinforcement and recognition of each player.

Our coaches are licensed volunteers, with Lance Borron serving as the head coach. Lance is assisted by a group of coaches and trainers, each with a veariety of experience. Lance is the past President of the KC Metro League and currently serves on the KC Metro League Board of Directors, and is also the Commissioner for Competitive Soccer at LSSA. Parent and player input are considered when making team decisions. Our coaching and team philosophy is centered around the belief that developing soccer skills, teaching our players to enjoy the game and building friendships are important. As a family oriented team, we also believe that teaching the core fundamental values of sportsmanship, respect and teamwork are essential in preparing our players for future opportunities in both soccer and life after soccer.

We offer competitive league play, currently in the KC Metro Soccer League, tournament play, and indoor league play November - March. We practice in the Lee's Summit area, and we play through LSSA so our league home games are played at Legacy Park.
