LS Lightning 00/01

The LS Lightning team will be holding open tryouts in June. We are developing a brand new team to play competitive soccer in the Girls U10 division (2000/2001) of the KC Metro League starting in the fall of 2010. As a single independent competitive team we are offering a unique alternative to the large clubs that are so prevalent in competitive soccer today. This team is for players born on or after August 1, 2000.

Our team will be managed and coached by qualified volunteers/parents so there will be no coaching fees associated with this team. We will be offering spring and fall competitive league play, tournament play, and indoor winter opportunities as well. We are a very family oriented group with strong values in sportsmanship, discipline, and respect. Our goal is to prepare young athletes through solid training for future opportunities in soccer as well as in life. Collectively our coaches have been coaching soccer for over 30 years.

Coaches:

B.Z. Parscale - B.Z. has over 11 years of experience coaching multiple teams in both recreational and competitive soccer through LSSA, as well as The KC Metro League.
Mike House - With over 18 years of competitive coaching and professional training Mike brings many layers of experience to the team including youth, high school, college, and professional playing time.
Jeff Fetz - Jeff's knowledge of the game and ability to work with young athletes is unparalleled. He has a great deal of exposure to competitive soccer and is a huge asset to the team as we move forward.

We are excited about forming and building this new team and are hoping to pick up some players that are driven, dedicated, skilled, and ready to play competitive soccer. Please contact us if you plan to attend tryouts or if you have a conflict and would like to make other arrangements.
