Rescheduling Games

Please review the Game Reschedule policies and rules found on your Team Registration Form, KC Metro League Website, and below on our website.

The procedure to reschedule a game is as follows:

Contact your Opponent, agree on a new date(s).

Your Opponent's Coach/Manager information is available by clicking box with a question mark inside that is next to each game on the schedule.
Forward your string of email communications showing where both teams agree to the new date(s) to the home team's Scheduler.

IMPORTANT - the email that you forward to the Scheduler must contain the game information - please copy/paste the game information from the schedule and include it in the message body near the top of the email that you forward to the Scheduler. We are not able to process your request unless you copy/paste the game information from the Schedule.

Policies

Referee Rescheduling Fee

A $125 Referee Rescheduling Fee will be charged for any game cancellations or reschedule requests received after Wednesday at noon of the week that you have a game on either that Saturday or Sunday. Weeknight game cancellation or reschedule requests will be assessed on a case by case basis with regard to whether the Referee Reschedule Fee will be charged. All Referee Rescheduling Fees must be paid prior to the corresponding game being rescheduled.

Weeknight Rescheduling Fee

An additional fee in the amount of $25 may be assessed for requests to reschedule a game for a weeknight. Requests to reschedule for a weeknight must be approved by the Commissioner. The fee must be paid prior to the corresponding game being scheduled. Initially the amount of the fee will be $25 per game. LSSA reserves the right to charge an amount above $25 and up to $125 per game for weeknight rescheduling requests. These fees are being charged to compensate for an increase in referee compensation, janitorial services and other expenses incurred to host a game on a weeknight.
